RAZER LEGENDS - The Orochi artistry arena x Leonardo.ai

I took part in a fun little challenge of designing background wallpapers within the Orochi theme. The main objective was to create this 8-headed serpent dragon with Leonardo.ai’s tool set. For these images, I started from a generated image and continued to build on it by using the Canvas tool which lets you regenerate specific / masked areas. This was very useful in adding detail like text, sun flare and lightning strikes. But also for the heads, as it was quite challenging to get 8 dragon heads from the get go.

Buster Keaton clips I have made shown at the 25th annual Buster Keaton Convention in Muskegon.
In January of 2019, the vice president of the International Buster Keaton Society, Alek Lev, contacted me. He had found my ‘One Week’ animation online and liked to screen them at their upcoming 25th Annual Buster Keaton Convention in Muskegon. In preparation for the event, I additionally created a couple of clips about my ‘One Week’ animation to also screen at the event. I did this in collaboration wit my former teacher in Animation at Digital Arts and Entertainment Alexandra Mores.
“This October 4th, 5th and 6th, join Keaton enthusiasts from all over the globe as they unite in Buster’s home away from home, Muskegon, Michigan, for the 25th annual Buster Keaton Convention. Spend three days experiencing rare screenings, informative and entertaining presentations on Buster’s career and private life and take a guided tour of the very streets Buster walked as a boy.”

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
As 1 of 3 universities worldwide, Howest was selected by Volkswagen to think about tomorrow’s car. Howest created ‘The Collective’ which represents the multidisciplinary project and team. I was lucky to be a part of this team as a last year 3D & VFX student (alumni DAE, class of 2018-2019).
As a multidisciplinary team, we worked on this project for Volkswagen about the mobility of the future. In Wolfsburg, we presented along other selected colleges (with a different background) our findings to the VW Design Team. The Collective consisted of 12 student: 4 people of DAE (Digital Arts and Entertainment), 4 people of Devine (Digital Design Development) and 4 people of IPO (Industrial Product Design).
During this project, we went to Supernova in Antwerp and the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven to gather inspiration and expand our network. Finally, while we were in Wolfsburg for the final presentation we also got a guided tour by the VW Design Team in Autostadt.
